A brief explanation of the high-quality characteristics and common processing methods of superfine fiber non-woven fabrics

by:Sunshine     2021-03-13
Microfiber non-woven fabric is a new technology and new product developed in recent years. Superfine fiber is a chemical fiber with extremely fine monofilament denier. There is no standard definition of filament in the world, but fibers with a single-filament denier less than 0.3 dtex are usually called superfine fibers. The superfine fiber non-woven fabric has the following excellent characteristics: (1) Thin texture, soft and comfortable hand feeling, and good drape. (2) The single fiber diameter decreases, the specific surface area increases, the adsorption increases, and the decontamination increases. (3) There are many fiber roots per unit area, high fabric density, good heat preservation performance, waterproof and breathable. Microfiber products are very popular in the international market due to their unique properties. For example, Clarino made of superfine fiber nonwoven fabrics and Eesaine made of toray opened a new era in the application of superfine fiber nonwoven fabrics. At present, the ultrafine fibers used in the production of non-woven fabrics mainly include separated composite fibers, sea-island composite fibers and direct spinning fibers. Its processing methods basically include (1) after split-type or sea-island composite fibers are formed into a network, ultra-fine fibers are made by splitting or dissolving (2) directly spinning through flash evaporation; (3) melt-blowning network.
