China has its own 'non-woven fabric' technology

The name 'non-woven fabric' may be unfamiliar to everyone, but in fact this advanced material has already been applied to all fields of our life, such as the packaging of household appliances and the production of clothing linings, but this technology has always been monopolized by foreign companies. As of 2000, there were only six production lines in the country, and foreign manufacturers blocked China's technology, providing only equipment and not production technology software, it brings great difficulties in production and product development to manufacturers of polyester spunbonded non-woven fabrics. Moreover, the price of imported equipment is extremely high, with a production line equipment above 0. 1 billion yuan, which has deterred domestic investors who intend to invest in the project. In order to break this situation, Dalian Huayang Engineering Co. , Ltd. and Nanhai Jinlong non-woven Co. , Ltd. started to cooperate in the development of domestic polyester spunbonded non-woven fabric production technology in 2000. After four years of research and development, the technology has now matured, and the reduction of production costs will certainly promote the wide use of the technology. According to reports, domestic 'non-woven fabrics' have now surpassed the technical level of similar foreign products and will be thinner, more breathable and more guaranteed in quality than foreign 'non-woven fabrics, and the production cost is only 1/4 of the price of similar foreign production lines, so it is more internationally competitive. Nanhai Jinlong nonwoven Co. , Ltd. has used this technology to carry out mass production of clothing linings, decorative fabrics, toys, etc. Yu Mingfang, member of the expert appraisal team of the China Textile Industry Association and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that due to the superior air permeability and toughness of 'non-woven fabrics', it is expected to replace the plastic wrap, agricultural film and other products currently in use in the future, the market space is very broad.
