India launches anti-dumping investigation against Chinese nonwovens

On June 15, 2016, the Anti-dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that it decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on non-woven fabrics imported from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia in response to applications from its domestic industries. The investigation mainly involved the products under the tariff number 56031100 and 56039100 of the Indian Customs, and the investigation period was from July 2015 to March 2016. Stakeholders should submit information to the Indian investigation authority within 40 days from the date of filing the case.
