Influencing factors and measurement indicators of air permeability The air permeability of a fabric depends on the size and number of voids in the fabric, which in turn is related to the shape of the fiber, the shape of the yarn, the geometric structure of the fabric and the finishing factors. In general, the thicker the yarn, the greater the air permeability of the fabric; the air permeability of the special-shaped cross-section fiber fabric is better than that of the round cross-section fiber fabric; the increase in the thickness of the fabric decreases the air permeability; the more the fabric interweaving points, the lower the air permeability; In fabrics with the same linear density, as the warp and weft density increases, the air permeability of the fabric will decrease; after the fabric is processed by milling, raising, resin finishing, and gluing, its air permeability decreases. There are two test indicators for air permeability, one is air permeability and the other is air permeability. Air permeability refers to the volume of air flowing through a unit area of u200bu200bthe material per unit time under the specified pressure on both sides of the fabric; air permeability refers to the speed at which the airflow passes through the sample vertically under the specified sample area, pressure and time conditions, in mm /s. Experimental analysis: 1. The effect of warp density on the air permeability of the fabric. When the plant material is the same and the organization is the same, the air permeability of the fabric will show a decreasing trend after the warp density becomes larger. The air permeability mainly depends on the length of the inner hole diameter of the fabric used. If the warp density of the fabric becomes larger, the inner hole diameter will become shorter, which will result in poor air permeability. The air permeability of fabrics of the same material and different weaves decreases in different degrees. The smooth fabric has the largest change, followed by twill weave and satin weave the smallest. It can be concluded that when the raw materials are the same and the warp density of the tissue increases, the air permeability will decrease: the accuracy of the fabric decreases, and the air permeability will increase. 2. The effect of fabric structure on the air permeability of fabrics After the density increases, the air permeability of the fabric decreases, and the degree of decrease is the largest in plain weave, followed by twill weave, and satin weave is the smallest. Regardless of the warp density, the air permeability of the satin weave is greater than that of the twill weave, which is greater than the plain weave. Conclusion (1) If there is an environment, the main reason is that the organization of the fabric is different, while other aspects such as raw materials and precision are the same. Through the relevant data, we can draw the following conclusions, regardless of the size of the warp density, plain weave fabrics are the worst, followed by twill weave, and satin weave is the best, and it is affected by the increase in warp density. The effect is the least, followed by the twill weave, and the plain weave has the greatest change. (2) When other factors such as fabric warp density and raw materials are the same, fabric structure has the greatest impact on air permeability.
