Method for controlling tensile strength and softness of non-woven fabric

by:Sunshine     2021-04-07
Non-woven fabric is a kind of fabric that does not need to be spun and weaved, but the textile short fibers or filaments are oriented or randomly arranged to form a fiber network structure, and then reinforced by mechanical, thermal bonding or chemical methods. .

To put it simply: it is not made of yarns that are interwoven and knitted together, but the fibers are directly bonded together by physical methods.

Non-woven fabrics have changed the original textile theory, and are widely used with many characteristics such as wide use, low cost, high output value, fast production speed, and short process flow.

Since the non-woven fabric is made of polypropylene, if it is too hard, it will be more brittle, the tensile force is very bad, and the non-woven fabric is prone to cracking.

Most manufacturers like to make hard materials, because the fabric with the same weight after being hardened will feel much thicker than pure materials.

Hard material production is a process commonly used by non-woven fabric manufacturers, because the fabric will feel thinner after the fabric is soft, and the soft material feels very soft and close to the actual knitted fabric. The fabric has good toughness and strong tensile strength and is not easy to tear. .

The non-woven fabric with higher equipment temperature will feel harder, and the fabric with lower temperature will feel softer. Non-woven fabrics require soft and hard texture, which is achieved by controlling the temperature during the production process.
