Orchard weeding cloth covering methods and key points! Fruit trees of different ages cover differently

At present, the width of the weeding cloth used in my country is basically about 0.6-1.2 meters.
When laying ground cloth between rows of orchards, there are two different laying methods to meet the needs of different gardens.
1. Tree tray laying, that is, only 1 meter on both sides of the planting row, combined with the way of natural grass growing between rows, can reduce input and is suitable for production orchards.
2. Site preparation and laying, that is, laying ground cloth in the whole garden, with a high one-time investment, suitable for sightseeing picking orchards. After laying, both sides are compacted with soil, the ground cloth joints are overlapped 5-10 cm, and fixed with ground nails or other materials every 1 meter to prevent the wind from being opened.
Notes:
①Inspect every year or as needed to ensure that the edges are firmly fixed to prevent tearing in high winds;
②The trunk should not be wrapped too tightly, so as not to form stem marks as the crown thickens;
③Control the infestation of rodents and other small animals, make the ground cover their habitat, and endanger the trees;
④Keep the ground cloth surface free of soil, prevent weeds from growing on the ground cloth surface, and the root system will penetrate and damage the ground cloth;
⑤ Manually pull out the weeds at the openings of the ground cloth.
