Russia will build large new factories for polyester and non-woven fabrics

Russia will set up a large factory to produce polyester fiber and a new generation of non-woven fabrics in tamov region in 2013, which was set up by CJSC Kotovsky non-woven fabric manufacturing unit. The new factory will have a total investment of 2 billion rubles and an annual production capacity of 210 thousand tons of polyester fiber and 20 thousand tons of new generation multilayer non-woven fabrics. The new factory is expected to be put into production in 2015. From the perspective of non-woven fabrics, this new factory will focus on the production of innovative products, mostly for medicine. These products can be produced by spunbonded non-woven fabrics and blown non-woven fabrics.
