What are the spinning methods of spunbond non-woven fabrics

by:Sunshine     2021-04-04
Spunbond non-woven fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric production process. It extrudes and stretches polymer to form continuous filaments. The filaments are laid into a web, and the web is bonded by itself and thermally bonded. , Chemical bonding or mechanical reinforcement method to make the web into a non-woven fabric.

So what are the methods for spinning spunbond non-woven fabrics?

The spunbond non-woven fabric separates the drawn tow into monofilaments to prevent the fibers from sticking or tangling when forming a web. There are three commonly used forms: air flow separation, mechanical separation and electrostatic separation.

1. Spunbond non-woven fabric airflow separation

Airflow separation is the use of the coanda effect of aerodynamics. The airflow diffuses in a pipe with a fixed shape to form a turbulent flow to achieve the purpose of separation. This method spreads the net uniformly, but the cloth has a large difference in strength in the vertical and horizontal directions, the product has good flexibility, less silk, no cloud spots, and high elongation.

2. Spunbond non-woven fabric mechanical separation method

Mechanical thread separation is the use of mechanical devices such as baffles, swinging sheets, swinging rollers, vibrating plates, and rotating guides to make the tow bounce back after being stretched at a high speed when it encounters the impact of mechanical devices to achieve the purpose of separating fibers from each other. The cloth made by this method has higher tensile force, better cloth strength, and higher lateral strength, but the phenomenon of doubling often occurs.

3. Spunbond non-woven fabric electrostatic separation method

There are two methods for electrostatic separation of filaments: forced charging method and friction charging method.

The forced charging method is to suck the fiber bundle into an air stretching device or nozzle equipped with a high-voltage electrostatic field, so that the surface of the fiber has a high amount of charge, and the fibers with the same charge repel each other, so as to achieve the purpose of fiber separation. .

The friction charging method is a method in which the tow is charged with static electricity by the friction of the friction roller before stretching, and then laid into a net after air drafting.
