New safety standards for spunlace non-woven fabrics
Voith and Trützschler have jointly developed the manufacturing process of wet spunlace non-woven fabrics. The production equipment is an all-in-one machine composed of paper machine parts and non-woven machine parts. The manufacturing method of wet-laid non-woven fabric is similar to that of paper: a suspension composed of water and fibers up to 40 mm in length forms a uniform fiber mat, which is combined by a spunlace process to form a non-woven material. If necessary, you can also Texturing. The drying and winding of the non-woven fabric is done on other machine parts.
The newly developed standard combines Voith and Trützschler's different safety standards for paper and textile machinery in a new document, thereby defining the safety requirements for new hybrid machines.
This safety standard has been incorporated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as the basis for formulating international standards in order to gain greater influence worldwide.
