Non-woven fabrics can be used as electrical insulating materials, dielectric materials, etc., and the electrical properties of non-woven fabrics need to be accurately measured as such products, including electrical resistance, electrostatic properties, dielectric properties, and electrical breakdown strength. In addition, the electrostatic properties of nonwovens are also an important part of the performance of decorative materials and clothing materials. The specific resistance of materials is divided into surface specific resistance, volume specific resistance, mass specific resistance, and mass specific resistance is more commonly used in fiber resistance performance testing. During the use of non-woven fabric products, static electricity is often generated due to friction, which is extremely harmful in some occasions. Therefore, some products with special electrostatic performance requirements must be tested for electrostatic performance. The electrostatic performance test mainly includes three methods: corona discharge electrostatic test, friction electrostatic performance test and electrostatic adsorption test. When the non-woven fabric is used as a dielectric, the dielectric constant is required to be as large as possible; when used as a support and an insulator, a low dielectric constant is required. Therefore, it is necessary to test the dielectric properties of non-woven fabrics used for electricity. In order to improve the insulation performance and prevent accidents, the non-woven materials used for insulation must be tested for electrical breakdown strength.
