Panlong Textile opens a new factory in China

Beaulieu Technical Textiles, a subsidiary of Belgian Boyou International Group, has opened a new production plant in Weihai, Fujian Province, China. The new factory is located in an area of u200bu200b23,000 square meters and will mainly produce carpet backing, agricultural textiles and geotextiles. With its latest investment, the big goal is to make its polymer fabrics more accessible to major customers in China and the Far East. BIG already has a production plant in Rizhao, also in Fujian Province, as well as a sales office and showroom in Shanghai. BIG employs approximately 3,500 people in its 30 production facilities in eight countries. In 2012, the group's turnover was 1.4 billion €, according to the company's website.
