Technical textiles and non-woven fabrics at North American High-tech Textile Exhibition 2014

Leading technical textiles and nonwovens companies will showcase the latest products and technological advancements in textiles, nonwovens and materials during the North American High-Tech Textile Exhibition 2014 which will take place 13-15 from May 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia. The North American High-Tech Textile Exhibition represents all vertical aspects of research and development of the technical textile industry, through raw materials and production processes, transformation, further processing and recycling. Exhibitors and special functional safety components will showcase their wide array of flame-retardant fabrics to enhance the military, workwear and firefighting markets, as well as new high-UV materials for outdoor applications. Gaodi plans to use the exhibition as an opportunity to launch three product expansions in the near future. These measures include wide-angle Flex Hi fabrics for the power transmission belt market; laminated composite fabrics for high-pressure sealing applications in the oil and gas industry, and its high-strength carbon woven materials for the automotive, industrial and entertainment markets. DILO is expected to highlight recent developments and the latest equipment components to improve network quality and uniformity. The national pavilions of Germany, China, Belgium and Italy will be held again in the exhibition halls this year. French UBI will bring a pavilion on the floor of the exhibition hall for the first time. Special features will include a graduate poster program for the first annual edition of the North American High-Tech Textile Exhibition. The program will give graduate students the opportunity to showcase their research to industry professionals at the exhibition site. Five posters selected from industry judges will be submitted during the seminar.
